Scope
These Terms govern your use of: (a) online doctor consultations (audio/video/chat), (b) lab test bookings (in-centre and home sample collection), and (c) associated digital payments (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility & Account
You must be at least 18 years old. Minors may use the Services only with a parent/guardian’s consent and supervision. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
Medical Use & Emergencies
Online consultations supplement but do not replace in-person clinical examination where necessary. Not for emergencies. If you are experiencing an emergency, call your local emergency number or visit the nearest emergency facility immediately.
Telemedicine Practices
Our Registered Medical Practitioners (RMPs) follow applicable Telemedicine Practice Guidelines of India. The RMP may determine that an in-person visit, investigations, or referral is required before diagnosis/treatment. By starting an online consult, you provide explicit consent to receive tele-consultation.
Lab Tests & Home Collection
Test availability, pre-test instructions (e.g., fasting), and turnaround times (TATs) are indicative and may vary based on circumstances. For home collection, ensure accurate address, safe access, and availability at the scheduled time. Re-visits due to unavailability may attract additional charges. Certain samples may be rejected due to pre-analytical reasons (e.g., clotted/insufficient sample). A free re-draw or proportionate refund will be provided as per the Refund Policy.
Prescriptions
E‑prescriptions (where appropriate) will follow applicable laws. Some medicines may require an in-person assessment/physical prescription.
Bookings, Reschedules & Cancellations
You can view and manage bookings in your account. Reschedules are subject to slot availability. Cancellations are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy below.
Payments & Invoices
Fees are displayed at checkout and include applicable taxes. Convenience/transaction fees may apply. Payments are processed via our payment gateway partners. We do not store full card details. You will receive a digital invoice for successful payments.
Conduct
You agree not to misuse the Services (e.g., abusive behaviour, spamming, unlawful content, impersonation). We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and materials on our website/app are owned by Swagat Superspeciality Surgical Institute & NH or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute without permission.
Third‑Party Services
We may link to or integrate with third‑party services (e.g., payment gateways, diagnostic partners). Their terms and privacy practices apply to your usage of those services.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
We provide the Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for interruptions caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., internet outages, third‑party failures). Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or other liabilities that cannot be excluded under law.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Guwahati, Assam shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
